I've always had eye exams but have never been very satisfied. When I saw the huge lighted sign right on Dale Mabry I decided to give them a try. What a great experience! The front desk and nurses took me back right away. The web site was great so I downloaded all my paperwork and had it ready for check in. They took my insurance which was also great. The doctor was awesome! I have always thought about LASIK but Dr. Newsom really put me at ease. He has this really cool surgery center in the same building that has a viewing window and big flatscreens! I'm getting it done here. Highly recommend it!

Thank you Dr. Newsom and staff. My mom's cataract surgery went really well. She is so relieved she took the trouble to travel all the way from Montana to have Dr. Newsom perform the surgery. When my mom found out she had to have cataract surgery, she got really scared because she didn't feel completely confident about her doctor in Montana performing the procedure. A family member in Florida told us about Dr. Newsom and his reputation. Dr. Newsom did a superb job and my mom sees perfectly right now. She also told me his staff did a wonderful job calming her down before the procedure. Five stars and above *****

I am still ecstatic about my experience at Newsom Eye after having cataract surgery on both eyes in a one week period! No longer do I need glasses for either distance or reading. Dr. Newsom and his staff were highly professional and extremely well organized. The facility was immaculate. Even though there were many patients in the office when I was there, they made me feel as if I were the only one, never appearing rushed and taking as much time as needed to explain the procedures and answer my questions. Although there are many wonderful opthalmologists in New York, I am very happy that I decided to have the surgery in Tampa!

Newsom Eye is wonderful! I went to see Dr. Newsom when I noticed my vision getting a little worse than usual, even with my glasses. He told me that I needed cataract surgery. He asked me some questions about my hobbies and my lifestyle, and really took the time to find out what was important to me regarding my vision correction. The staff at Newsom Eye was kind, helpful, and informative. My cataract surgery was quick and pain free. Now my vision is clearer than ever before, and I have Dr. Newsom to thank for it! I would recommend Newsom Eye to anyone.
